Griffith University equity programs aim to make tertiary education accessible to all eligible students, regardless of their background.


Equity and merit scholarships

Each year Griffith University and its partners provide more than $40 million through over 600 scholarships available to new and continuing students. Scholarships include the Dean’s Sir Samuel and Sir Samuel Griffith scholarships for academic excellence, and a range of sport, equity, accommodation and study-specific scholarships.

EAS applicants are encouraged to apply for Griffith equity scholarships. Applicants must apply for EAS admission through UAC and apply online for a Griffith Scholarship.

For details on Australian Government financial support through Youth Allowance, Austudy and ABSTUDY, visit the Department of Human Services website.


Student Services staff are available to help students with financial matters, including information on Centrelink payments and entitlements. Student loans are available to students who can demonstrate need and whose future study may be in jeopardy because of financial problems.
