UNSW College

International students

International Year 12 students apply directly to UNSW College.

UNSW College, a wholly owned entity of UNSW Sydney, delivers pathway programs designed to support students in successfully transitioning to university study. With a long-standing commitment to international and transnational education, UNSW was the first Australian university to introduce a Foundation Studies program and to establish a university-based language centre. These pioneering initiatives continue to shape the College’s global approach to education.

Over the past 50 years, more than 125,000 students have progressed to university through UNSW College programs, which have expanded to include Diploma programs. These Diplomas provide targeted academic preparation, smaller class sizes, and personalised support, all delivered on UNSW’s Sydney campus. Students benefit from early access to university life, world-class facilities, and a supportive learning environment that builds the confidence and skills needed to succeed in second-year studies and beyond.
