La Trobe University

Scholarships and financial assistance

La Trobe equity programs aim to make tertiary education accessible to all eligible students, regardless of their background.

Equity Scholarships

La Trobe University has a number of scholarships available each year to assist students who are experiencing financial hardship and/or educational disadvantage and are commencing full-time undergraduate studies for the first time.

A student who enrolled at La Trobe after 30 June 2019 and who meets all of the criteria for commencing students at the time of that enrolment will be defined as a ‘commencing student’ for the purpose of this condition and will be eligible to be considered for La Trobe Equity Scholarships for 2020.

All La Trobe University Equity Scholarships applications are processed centrally through UAC.
