Your UAC application number and PIN

After you apply, you'll need to quote your UAC application number whenever you contact UAC.

When you complete the personal details section of your application, you'll be emailed your nine-digit 2025–26 UAC application number. Your application number will also be recorded on your Confirmation of Application.

If you're a current Year 12 student, you need to enter your Year 12 student number and a PIN to start your application. We need your student ID details to match your end-of-year results to your application. We also need them if you want to apply for the Schools Recommendation Scheme.

2025 NSW HSC applicants/ACT Year 12 applicants

Your UAC PIN is emailed to the address you registered with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) or the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies (ACT BSSS) on 2 April 2025 (the day applications opened).

It is different to your NESA PIN.

If you lose your UAC PIN, call us on (02) 9752 0200.

All other 2025 Year 12 applicants

Your UAC PIN is the first four digits of your date of birth (day and month). For example, if your birthday is 3 October, your UAC PIN is 0310; if your birthday is 17 May, your UAC PIN is 1705.

For any issues with your PIN or application number, call us between 8.30am and 4.30pm (Sydney time) Monday to Friday.

Your UAC application number and Equity Scholarships application number are not the same.
