Thousands more university offers for 2026 released

THOUSANDS of students are celebrating today as the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) releases a further 13,200 university offers.

Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer Kim Paino said it’s a pivotal time for students as they firm up their plans for the year ahead.

‘Congratulations to the students who have received an offer to study this year and are preparing to begin their university journey. For those who didn’t receive an offer this time, there are still many pathways available that can lead to university and to the course you’re aiming for.’

Up-to-date details of the lowest selection rank for entry into each course on UAC's website, along with the latest information on which courses are likely to still have vacancies.

The next offer round will be released on Thursday 22 January. Applicants must finalise their preferences by 11.59pm on Thursday 15 January to be considered.

For those yet to apply, there is still time. Applications for first semester study are open until 11.59pm on Friday 6 February, with applicants encouraged to check course availability and entry requirements before submitting their application.
