Register for upcoming events
- ACU Advisory Conference webinars – Careers advisers can register for online professional development sessions to access current information about ACU courses and entry requirements. The June and July webinars will cover new course offerings, updated entry pathways and changes to admission processes.
- ACU Talk with Industry webinars – Students can join ACU's online 'Talk with Industry' series to hear from ACU graduates working across different professions. They will hear directly from practicing psychologists, paramedics, and other professionals about their journey from study to career. Each session includes time for questions.
- ACU Open Days – Prospective students and their families can explore ACU’s campus facilities, talk with current students and staff throughout the day, and get detailed information about courses and study options.

Course guides available
Careers advisers can now request ACU’s latest undergraduate guides. These resources detail ACU's programs, entry requirements and campus facilities for 2026 admissions.
Entry information
ACU Guarantee – An early offer based on Year 11 results and optional personal statements can boost a student's selection rank. Applications open for Year 12 students on 21 Jul 2025 and close on 15 Sep 2025.
Early offer schemes
- Applications are open for Year 12 students to apply for ACPE Early Entry, based on their Year 11 results.
- Applications are also open for Year 12 students to apply for UAC's Schools Recommendation Scheme, based on their Year 11 results and school ratings.
Flexible entry pathways and scholarships
ACPE offers flexible admissions pathways to support non-school leavers, whether they have taken a gap year, have just finished a vocational certificate, or are planning to change their study or career path.
ACPE scholarships are available to support students from all walks of life in their education journey.

- Explore Your Options Week (last week of May to first week of Jun): in-depth discussions with industry experts and academics about ACPE courses, careers and entry options.
- Career Spotlights, Alumni Video Series (from Jun to Jul): on-demand videos of alumni sharing career journeys, insights, advice and professional experiences.
- ACPE Dance Showcase (29-30 Oct): end-of-year performance showcasing the work of ACPE dance students in a wide range of choreographic styles. Tickets on sale from early May.

Early Entry – applications open
Year 12 students can apply to Avondale University’s Early Entry Program and secure an offer into their chosen undergraduate degree before their final HSC exams. Open to domestic students who are eligible for an ATAR and can demonstrate an average percentage mark of 70 per cent across all subjects in Year 11.
Early Entry Scholarships worth $2,000 are available for all Early Entry applicants who enrol full-time in 2025. Offers will be released from 2 Sep onwards and applications close 11 Nov 2025.
Open Days 2025
Open Days are an opportunity for students and their friends and family to discover what uni life is all about at Avondale University.
- Lake Macquarie Open Day – Sun 24 Aug, 11am to 2pm: Prospective students are invited to register to attend Avondale University’s Lake Macquarie campus for an Open Day, to explore the campus, join guided tours, and discover everything Avondale has to offer. Attendees can engage with staff and current students to learn more about Avondale's courses, campus life, social and sports clubs, and the application process.
- Sydney Nursing Open Evening – Wed 13 Aug, 6 to 8pm: Students interested in a career in nursing are invited to register to attend Avondale University’s Sydney campus for an Open Evening dedicated to nursing. The event includes a tour of the university's nursing facilities and interactive demonstrations. Attendees will have the chance to speak with current nursing students and faculty to ask about the course, entry requirements and the application process.
Free accommodation offer – limited availability
To support students as they transition into university life, Avondale University is offering free accommodation for eligible new students. This limited offer provides the chance to live on campus, experience a vibrant student community and enjoy the convenience of being close to classes. Online chat session
Prospective students are invited to register for CQUniversity’s Online Chat Session to get real-time answers to their questions about studying at CQU. Whether they're interested in learning more about courses, entry requirements, scholarships, or student life, they can connect directly with CQU experts for the personalised information they need.

CQUniversity's Year 12s, parents and supporters' webinar is designed to support students transitioning from high school to further study. Register to find out about course details, entry requirements, and all the information needed to apply.

Creative Arts Open Day, Sun 18 May
Prospective students are invited to register for the Creative Arts Open Day to discover how studying at Griffith can nurture their skills and creative vision. They'll get to immerse themselves in interactive workshops, demonstrations, studio and campus tours. There will also be info sessions to learn more about study and career options in film and screen, design, visual arts, music and performance.
Year 12 webinar series
Year 12 students are invited to register for the Year 12 webinar series. The webinars provide students with everything they need to know about Macquarie University--from courses and entry programs to application. There is also a guide on how to reduce Year 12 study stress and on leaving home.

Year 10 Guide to Uni webinar
Year 10 students are invited to register for the Year 10 Guide to Uni webinar to learn what they can do in Years 11 and 12 to maximise their chances of securing a place at uni. They'll learn how to select HSC subjects that best align with their future interests, about entry pathways and schemes, and about the importance of extracurricular activities during Years 11 and 12.

Students are invited to register to attend Macquarie Uni Open Day, where they can find out more about what Macquarie Uni has to offer, get a feel for the campus and facilities and chat to current students and staff.

Faculty of Science and Engineering 'Discover' lecture series
For students who are starting to explore science or are already a passionate enthusiast, these monthly talks are suitable for ages 10 and up. They offer insights and a glimpse into the technological advancements shaping our future.

You need to register for the lecture. It will be held in Theatre G25, Michael Kirby Building, 17 Wally’s Walk, Macquarie University.
Careers Advisers' Lunch and Learn series
These interactive sessions are designed to provide need-to-know information in a bite-sized format and help careers advisers stay connected. Register to watch the lunch-and-learn session live or access on-demand afterwards.

Course changes
Launching in 2026, the Bachelor of Health Sciences will equip students with the skills to tackle current and emerging health challenges – locally, nationally and globally.
Offering four interdisciplinary majors: Digital Health, Health Administration, Health Coaching, and Mental Health and Counselling, the degree draws on the expertise of MQ Health, which is home to Australia’s only not-for-profit hospital on a university campus, as well as 30 specialist clinics.
The Bachelor of Health Sciences is also offered as a pathway from the Diploma of Health Sciences through Macquarie University College.
The diploma is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree and will introduce students to the fundamental concepts of health and wellbeing, evidence-based health practice and health systems. Upon successful completion of the diploma, students can progress directly into the second year of the Bachelor of Health Sciences without losing any time, as they'll receive credit for the units completed in the diploma.
UniReady
For students aged 17 or older who have already completed their schooling, UniReady is a first step on the journey towards studying a bachelor's degree at Macquarie Uni. The fee-free pathway program will provide the university-level skills students need to commence a bachelor's degree. Students will be eligible if they are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent visa holder and meet English language requirements.
Chat with our Student Ambassadors
Students can now connect with friendly student ambassadors at a time that suits them. This is a great opportunity to see what uni life is really like and chat with student ambassadors to learn more about their experiences at Macquarie University.
UC Early Offer Scheme opens this month
UC's Early Offer Scheme opens for Year 12 students in ACT and NSW on Mon 19 May. The scheme allows students, who have applied to study an eligible course, to receive an offer from the University of Canberra before they receive their ATAR.
To apply all they need is:
- their Year 11 BSSS (ACT) or NESA (NSW) report
- a 300-word statement about why they want to study the course they have chosen.
Applications close Sun 17 Aug 2025.
Early Entry Program
Applications are open for the University of Newcastle’s free Early Entry Program, where students can receive an offer before the HSC exams begin.
To be eligible, applicants must be domestic Year 12 students currently completing the NSW HSC or International Baccalaureate (IB) at one of the recognised Early Entry Program participating secondary schools.
School Based Traineeship Admission Pathway for Bachelor of Nursing
The University of Newcastle offers a School Based Traineeship (SBT) Admission Pathway for the Bachelor of Nursing. Please note the changes to application steps, dates and documentation needed.
Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine Guaranteed Entry Pathway
The University of Newcastle offers guaranteed entry into many undergraduate programs, including the Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine, for those who have completed the HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance.

UNSW Gateway Admission Pathway expands eligibility criteria
UNSW Gateway Admission Pathway offers alternative entry to UNSW for eligible students, with successful applicants receiving either an early offer or early conditional offer to their preferred degree.
This year, eligibility has been expanded to include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, alongside students from Gateway schools and students who live in low-socioeconomic areas (based on IRSAD or IEO indexes of SEIFA criteria).
Round 1 applications are now open and close Wed 23 Jul.
UNSW’s Year 11 & 12 Gateway Program registrations are open
The Year 11 & 12 Gateway Program gives students exclusive access to faculty and academic resources to support students in their final years of high school. They’ll also have the chance to visit campus, meet current UNSW students and receive extra support with their Gateway Admission Pathway application to fast-track their entry to UNSW. Registrations are now open.
UNSW Portfolio Entry Early Conditional Offer Scheme
Applications are now open for the UNSW Portfolio Early Entry Conditional Offer Scheme. Students interested in degrees within Arts, Design and Architecture or Engineering can submit a portfolio to boost their chances of admission to UNSW. Successful applicants will then receive an early conditional offer with an adjusted ATAR requirement.
Early Offer Program
Notre Dame’s Early Offer Program is an opportunity for students to have their skills, experience and achievements recognised and to secure their place in their preferred course before their final exams. Applications are now open.
New to Notre Dame: Future You Admissions Pathway
The Future You Admissions Pathway is our primary entry pathway for students from low socio-educational backgrounds, designed to support them from application through to their first semester at Notre Dame.
Admitted students enrolled in this pathway benefit from a $1,000 scholarship to help with the cost of starting university. They will receive application and transition support to university life, as well as the opportunity to receive up to 10 adjustment factors (bonus ATAR points). Keep an eye on our website for eligibility and application info.
UniPath
Our 12-week pathway program, UniPath, is open to Sydney school students in Year 11 and Year 12, from July 2025. UniPath allows students to begin their pathway to university while completing year 12. Upon successful completion of the program, students are guaranteed direct entry into many undergraduate courses at the University of Notre Dame.
Programs with direct entry from UniPath completion include Arts and Sciences (excluding Architecture and Psychology), Business, Education (Primary & Early Learning only), Health Sciences (excluding Health and Physical Education: Secondary), Philosophy and Theology.
New degrees
Notre Dame has recently added to the program offerings available at our Sydney Campus for 2025, including:
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education: Designed to meet the increased demand for early childhood educators, this degree qualifies graduates to work with children, birth to five years, in early learning settings. The program includes 95 days of professional experience for students to refine their knowledge and skills in real-world settings, preparing them to become reflective and responsive teachers.
- Bachelor of Computer Science: This is a cutting-edge degree designed for the next generation of software development engineers, cyber security specialists, data analysts, artificial intelligence engineers and tech entrepreneurs.
- New AI major in Bachelor of Arts: Notre Dame’s new major in AI equips students to join the dynamic and ever-growing tech industry and tackle the practical and ethical issues associated with AI. An internship of 80 hours is available to all students in the Bachelor of Arts program. With an AI major, students can choose to gain work experience in corporations of AI engineers, software developers and other tech specialists.
Webinars for high school students
Students in Years 10 to 12 are invited to register for the term 2 weekly webinar series, run on Wednesdays from 7 May to 23 Jul. They are the perfect opportunity to learn about a range of topics, from preparing for university to choosing the right courses.
Year 12 Info Evening (online)
Year 12 students and their caregivers are invited to register for an online info session on 11 Jun from 6pm (AEST) to learn about university entry schemes, scholarships, study options, student support, accommodation and campus life.
Open Day
Discover what it's like to study at the University of Sydney by coming to their Open Day on Sat 30 Aug, 9am to 4pm. Open Day is a chance to explore the campus, chat with staff and students, and learn about the University of Sydney's wide range of courses and programs.

UTS has confirmed the key dates for the 2026 UTS Early Entry Program, which provides Year 12 students with the opportunity to secure a place at university before final exams.

- Applications close: 8 Sep 2025
- Provisional offers released: 24 Sep 2025.
Unlocking Careers in Sport and Health
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students in Years 9 to 12 are invited to register to attend this on-campus experience day, to explore the diverse career opportunities available in the fields of sport and health. Students get to participate in practical workshops and hear from Indigenous industry professionals during a Yarn Up Q&A session.
