Admission criteria and entry schemes
Undergraduate applicants
Australian Year 12 students
Selection will be based on completion of an Australian Year 12 or equivalent, including the International Baccalaureate (IB).
Applicants must be a minimum 17 years of age.
JMC Academy courses do not have an ATAR requirement.
Applicants are required to attend an interview or live audition or provide a portfolio of items appropriate for the course they’re applying for.
Applicants who have completed prior higher education study may be assessed and selected for admission if they have completed a minimum one term full-time AQF Diploma study or part time equivalent (or overseas equivalent).

Applicants who have completed prior vocational education study may be assessed and selected for admission if they have successfully completed an AQF VET qualification Certificate IV or above (or its overseas equivalent).

Mature-aged or post-school applicants may be admitted based on employment experience and/or an interview process. You are encouraged to apply and contact JMC to find out how you can enter into a program.
Applicants who do not meet the formal entry requirements may be considered on a case by case basis.
There are commonly accepted overseas secondary qualifications that JMC may take into consideration. Check your qualification.
English language proficiency
If you hold overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction, you must provide evidence of English language proficiency.
