We place the utmost importance on creative space, with state-of-the-art equipment, performance spaces, and studios adaptable to all disciplines. The sense of community felt on arrival at AIM is like no other. While your education here will cover the fundamentals to the highest standard, you’ll also be taught the tools to build a career in music. This includes opportunities to collaborate regularly with your fellow artists on small and large-scale projects, building a support network, experimenting across disciplines, and finding your own unique sound.

We are strongly committed to supporting the wellbeing of our students. Our Wellbeing Program includes the following areas.

We offer confidential, one-on-one catchups with students the chat about anything affecting your studies. We can also help with counselling referrals for ongoing support.

Wellbeing Workshops

Our regular workshops cover topics such as guided meditation, dealing with anxiety and procrastination.

Disability Support and Adjustment to Study

We apply the Social Model of Disability in relation to disability support. This model seeks to change society in order to accommodate people living with a disability; it does not seek to change persons with a disability to accommodate society. We support what is termed reasonable adjustments for students with a diagnosed physical or mental health condition with our Equal Opportunity Adjustment Program (EOAP).
