The wait is almost over – university offers next week

IT’S an exciting time for 2025 NSW HSC students. With ATARs released today, students now have everything they need to start finalising their plans for next year. 

On Tuesday 23 December, the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) will release ATAR-based university offers to Year 12 students. This will be the largest offer round of the year and offers will be available from 7.30am. Students will receive their offers by email and can also check by logging in to their UAC application.

For students still refining their course choices, now is the time to act. Preferences for this offer round close at 11.59pm tonight, Thursday 18 December, so any final changes need to be made quickly. 

Kim Paino, Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer, encourages students to make the most of this time. ‘Now that students have their results, it’s time to focus on what comes next. If you’re considering changing your preferences, take a moment to explore all your options and reach out to UAC or universities for support. Time is tight – but hopefully you’ve been thinking about your next steps and can now confidently lock in your final choices.’
