Uni is still an option

03 Jan 2020

IF you missed out on a uni offer in December, don’t stress – securing a spot at uni is still an option.

The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) will release further offers next week, in January Round 1, on Friday 10 January. Applicants can check if they have an offer on the My UAC mobile app or on UAC’s website from 7.30am.

Preferences for this offer round can be changed until midnight on Sunday.

UAC General Manager of Marketing and Engagement, Kim Paino, said, ‘many students will be anxiously awaiting this round of offers.'

‘We expect thousands of offers will be made, which will be good news for lots of our applicants. While there are still more offer rounds to come, anyone who receives an offer should accept it, so they don’t miss out on the opportunity to study in first semester this year.’

Further offers will be made in January Round 2 on Thursday 23 January. Preferences for that round need to be finalised by midnight on Sunday 19 January.

For those who haven’t applied, it’s not too late, with applications for first semester study open until midnight on Friday 7 February.

For more information about applying through UAC, visit UAC’s website.
