Applications steady for uni in 2020

05 Dec 2019

UNIVERSITY application statistics for 2020 have been released today by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). At the end of November 70,323 people had applied through UAC for study in 2020. This includes more than 40,000 NSW HSC students who are waiting on the release of their results.

ATARs will be released at 1pm on Tuesday 17 December – the same day as HSC results – to give Year 12 students time to review their preferences before offers are released.

Preferences can be changed until midnight on Thursday 19 December 2019 and the first main round of offers for Year 12 students will be released on Monday 23 December 2019.

There’s still time to apply – applications for first semester are open until Friday 7 February 2020.

For more information about applying to university, visit UAC’s website or call UAC on 1300 275 822 (from mobiles on (02) 9752 0200).
