Selection rank adjustments

Equity adjustments

ICMS has an Educational Access Scheme (EAS) for applicants who have experienced long-term educational disadvantage due to circumstances beyond their control or choosing, which has seriously affected their educational performance. A long-term educational disadvantage should normally be experienced for a period of at least six months. ICMS EAS applications are made centrally through UAC.

How Educational Access Schemes work

ICMS High Academic Place (HAP) offers

ICMS offer a limited number of High Academic Places (HAPs) each February intake to students who demonstrate strong academic ability, as evidenced by ATAR ranking. HAP students receive a tuition fee subsidy for the duration of their course. The subsidy amount varies each intake depending on the number and quality of applicants.

ICMS offers

Qualified students who are not offered a HAP are eligible for a place to study at ICMS. FEE-HELP is available to cover the full cost of your tuition. In addition to your application interview, ICMS will consider achievement in your Year 12 subjects or equivalent.

All students are considered for entry based on:

  • achievement in your Year 12 subjects
  • performance in an application interview.

Other admission options

Schools Recommendation Scheme

ICMS participates in the Schools Recommendation Scheme (SRS), which is processed centrally through UAC. An ISCA diploma provides subject credits needed for articulation to the second year of an equivalent bachelor degree at ICMS.

To find out more, visit the ISCA website.
