About

A Graduate Certificate in Inclusive Education gives applicants the skills needed to support people with additional needs. Using a mix of theory, practice, research and analysis, the program develops understanding through subjects like person centred practice, inclusive environments, technology assisting learning, managing challenging and diverse behaviour, assessing to support learning, and universal design for learning.

This part-time program combines online and face-to-face study with a four-day intensive teaching session in January and July each year, and an additional mid-semester one-day workshop.

Admission criteria

Undergraduate degree, or higher, in teaching/education, rehabilitation therapies, human welfare studies and services, or behavioural science. An undergraduate degree in teaching includes the historical 2–3 year Diploma of Teaching/Education prior to 1987.
