The Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems builds your knowledge of using business analysis technology. Explore data management, systems analysis, cloud-based micro-services, ethical decision-making and strategic planning. Our course is accredited by the Australian Computer Society.
This graduate diploma is designed to meet the changing business environments in which you aspire to work and manage. This course provides a solid standalone qualification to prepare you for a career in the field as well as a pathway into the Master of Business Information Systems. To qualify for the Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems, you will complete eight core subjects.
Learning outcomes
- Establish competence in planning, designing, implementing and maintaining information systems.
- Discover how information systems are used as analytical tools.
- Develop technical interpretative knowledge to solve an array of workplace issues.
- Learn how various information systems work across a range of industries.
Admission criteria
- Completed AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australian University; or
- An equivalent overseas higher education qualification.
Applicants without formal qualifications at AQF7 (Bachelor degree) or above may be considered for entry if they have at least seven (7) years of professional, administrative or managerial work experience. Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
