About

The Master of Education (Leadership and Innovation) Advanced offers current teachers, education practitioners and professionals the opportunity to elevate their knowledge and skills, research capabilities and expertise in targeted areas of educational theory and practice. The course includes a solid foundation in the research of inclusion, leadership, and social justice, providing knowledge and skills to students to be empowered to enact change in program, policy, and project design.

Leadership and Innovation: Through a leadership lens, gain advanced theoretical and practical insights to identify challenges and opportunities in education. Learn to devise effective strategies in response, understand technology's role in modern learning settings and critically assess contemporary educational innovations.

Admission criteria

  • Completed AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australian University; or
  • An equivalent overseas higher education qualification.

Applicants without formal qualifications at AQF7 (Bachelor degree)  or above may be considered for entry on the basis of a combination of formal (below AQF7) or non-formal qualifications and three years of relevant experience in an education or training professional role. Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
