About

The Master of Education (Leadership and Innovation) enhances expertise in contemporary educational leadership practices and innovative approaches. It offers theoretical and practical insights for identifying and responding to educational challenges, leveraging technology in modern learning settings.

This course develops advanced technical skills and knowledge, providing ongoing professional development for educators as a foundation for effective leadership. It explores contemporary innovations, with a focus on analysing and critiquing existing approaches. Teachers, education practitioners and professionals will upskill, enhance research ability and develop proficiency in specific areas of education theory and practice. The course includes a solid foundation in the research of inclusion, leadership, and social justice, providing knowledge and skills to students to be empowered to enact change in program, policy, and project design.

Admission criteria

  • Completed AQF Level 7 (Bachelor degree) or above from an Australian University; or
  • An equivalent overseas higher education qualification.

Applicants without formal qualifications at AQF7 (Bachelor degree)  or above may be considered for entry on the basis of a combination of formal (below AQF7) or non-formal qualifications and three years of relevant experience in an education or training professional role. Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
