About

This degree is designed to prepare Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to become professional artists.

You will focus on traditional Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art media, styles and forms, together with strategies for their viable adaptation within a highly urbanised society. It is planned in accordance with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander principles and philosophies. Teaching respects Aboriginal laws concerning the ways in which techniques and images may be used.
