This double major program comprises units from the ACAP disciplines of Psychological Sciences and Criminology. The course increases graduates’ employment and further study opportunities in careers and postgraduate studies related to both psychology and criminology.
Students must complete 24 units of study consisting of 13 core psychology units and 11 core criminology units. Depending on grades, a graduate may be eligible to enter fourth-year psychology programs such as the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons). To become a registered psychologist, a fourth year of study is essential. Graduates may also apply for postgraduate degrees offered by the disciplines of Counselling and Social Work, such as the Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Master of Social Work (Qualifying). Graduates will also be eligible for further study in criminology.

The course can be studied completely online, or psychology units can be studied on-campus in Sydney, Brisbane or Perth with criminology units studied online.
The course is also available fully on-campus in Melbourne or Adelaide.
