About

Expand your teaching areas with the Graduate Certificate in Secondary Teaching – a one-year part-time program which includes study of two curriculum subjects that cover the NSW syllabus requirements for Years 7-10 and Years 11-12. The program also offers applicants an in-school professional experience block and one subject in student wellbeing, curriculum and assessment design or leadership.

Applicants need a minimum of four undergraduate pre-requisite subjects to meet the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) requirement for their area of study.

Admission criteria

Secondary teaching qualification and a minimum of four undergraduate subjects as required by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) for the area of study the applicant is intending to teach.
