About

The Graduate Diploma in Aged Care Management will allow those working in supervisory and management positions, in health and aged care organisations, charitable organisations and the private sector to up-skill their management knowledge by exposing them to contemporary issues in aged care. 

This program equips graduates to position themselves at the forefront of innovation in the organisation and delivery of quality aged care services.

Admission criteria

Either:

  • undergraduate degree, or higher, in a relevant health-related discipline; or
  • graduate diploma or graduate certificate in any discipline and two years' full-time equivalent work experience in a relevant health-related discipline.

Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application. Applications from Opal Aged Care employees need to be accompanied by a Statement of Service from Opal Aged Care in order to be eligible for, and processed as, an Opal Aged Care scholarship recipient.
