About

This degree in Occupational Health and Safety provides you with an opportunity to develop advanced skills in leadership for quality and safety in healthcare provision. 

The Graduate Diploma explores the socioeconomic, behavioural, biological and societal determinants of health and disease, providing a sound knowledge in epidemiology and the use of healthcare data for decision-making.

If you wish to continue your professional development journey this degree provides an entry point to the Master of Health Science (Occupational Health and Safety) with further studies.

Admission criteria

Either:

  • undergraduate degree, or higher, degree in a relevant health-related discipline; or
  • graduate diploma or graduate certificate in any discipline and two years' full-time equivalent work experience in a relevant health-related discipline.

Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.
