About

This clinically focused program is designed for multidisciplinary clinicians who would like to major in diabetes clinical care and education. Underpinned by an empowerment approach to person-centred diabetes care, you will learn about the clinical management of diabetes and how best to support and educate people with diabetes regarding the management of their condition and optimisation of their health.
In addition to examining the aetiology, pathophysiology, clinical assessment and management of different types of diabetes and short and long term complications, this program will explore self-management support at the system, organisational and individual level.

This inter-professional program provides the opportunity for you to learn with, about, and from other health disciplines in delivering diabetes care.
