This program is designed to equip applicants with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. It is the first step towards obtaining professional recognition in this field and meeting the required entry criteria to pursue a Master of Accountancy or Master of Professional Accounting.
Admission criteria
Either:
- undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline; or
- associate degree, or higher, in a business discipline; or
- advanced diploma, or higher, in a business discipline and five years’ full-time equivalent general work experience in a related field; or
- three years’ full-time equivalent managerial/professional work experience in a related field; or
- other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates the potential to pursue graduate studies.
Applicants seeking admission only on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service.
Applicants seeking admission on the basis of an advanced diploma and work experience can provide a CV detailing the minimum requirements for all work experience listed on the application.
