This fully accredited program, which can be completed over two years of full-time study, combines classroom-based study with hands-on practical counselling experience in the real world.

Admission criteria

  • Admission into the Master of Counselling requires a selection interview with a member of the Counselling staff. At the interview the applicant will be required to demonstrate a suitable degree of mature life experience as defined by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), which is the one of the competent authorities that provides accreditation for this program.
  • Successful applicants are required to provide a current National Police Clearance at the time of enrolling in placement courses.
