About

The Graduate Certificate in Nursing provides registered nurses with the opportunity to further develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills and leadership capability so they are prepared to provide evidenced-based care in a range of contexts. There are a broad range of elective courses, enabling participants to match their learning to their areas of interest or workplace needs.

Our Graduate Certificate in Nursing will assist you to develop your clinical reasoning, critical thinking and the use of current evidence and research to make sound clinical judgments to practice safely in complex modern health environments. Students will explore current and emerging national and regional health priorities, policies and practices. This certificate is fully online and can be easily combined with your existing work commitments and your family.

Admission criteria

  • Current license to practice as a registered nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or provisional registration, whichever is applicable at the time of commencement.
  • Nursing or other appropriate degree or the equivalent.
