About

This program provides students the opportunity to investigate the principles and practices associated with either the IB Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) or the Diploma Programme (IB DP). Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in International Baccalaureate Education, graduates will be able to apply to the IB for the IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning in either IB PYP or IB DP, which are internationally recognised and develop globally minded teachers.

Admission criteria

  • A Bachelor or postgraduate degree in teaching/education or a cognate discipline

Students who have English as an Additional Language and are admitted on the basis of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assessment, or an equivalent English language proficiency assessment, are only admitted if they have attained an overall IELTS (or equivalent) score of 7.5 (with no score lower than 8.0 in speaking and listening, and no score lower than 7.0 in reading and writing).
