If so, UC’s Master of Occupational Therapy is the course for you. This course is perfect for students who are committed to a career transforming the lives of everyday people, groups, and communities and who are serious about earning the qualifications to prove it.

Work Integrated Learning is an integral part of this course, giving you an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience and form strong relationships with industry stakeholders and professionals before graduating. Over two years, you’ll participate in 1000 hours of practical education in places such as hospitals, health clinics, community organisations, school and aged care facilities both locally or nationally.

This qualification is recognised by Occupational Therapy Australia and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists which can open doors and opportunities in the health profession on a global scale.

Admission criteria

A bachelor degree as approved by the University with a credit or higher average.

Additional application requirements

A police check and immunisations record are required to commencing practice education. Results of the police check must be satisfactory for students to be accepted for practice education placements in a variety of healthcare settings.

There are non-standard English language proficiency requirements for this course.

Closing dates

The on time closing date for applications is 30 April 2024, however, applications can be submitted until 30 June 2024. On time applications will be given assessment and offer priority. Applications submitted after 30 April 2024 will be considered if there are sufficient places still available.
