The ICMS Master of Business Administration (Digital Transformation) is a next-level postgraduate degree experience for the ambitious, passionate, and driven – those who are serious about fast-tracking their career to the next level.

The Digital Transformation specialisation MBA develops your capability to managing the design and execution of new structures and processes to assist organisations to manage the waves of digital disruption sweeping industry.

You will explore new competitive digital business models and platform-based product offerings as well as emergent trends including data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).

A focus of this MBA specialising in Digital Transformation lies in the customer experience through automation. You will be equipped to lead organisations through the disruption of established business models and offer novel digital approaches to deliver value in a digital-platform-orientated world. 

Degree Structure

The ICMS Master of Business Administration (Digital Transformation) offers:

  • 14 subjects in total
  • 10 core subjects
  • 2 specialisation subjects
  • 2 Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subjects

You will have the opportunity to complete an Action Learning Project and a Professional Placement in an Australian or international business within your 2 WIL subjects, included within the degree.

Professional placements are arranged for you by the dedicated ICMS WIL team who will work with you to secure an individually tailored internship role aimed at building your Australian business networks and connections, as well as providing real life work experience.

Admission criteria

At least three years’ relevant professional work experience (or attend an interview with the relevant Program Manager to assess merit based entry criteria if the applicant has at least two years of relevant professional work experience)*; and

Meet one of the following academic entry requirements:

  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent with a minimum grade average, GPA 3.0 (on a 5 point scale); or
  • Successful completion of a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent; or
  • Successful completion of at least four award, or non-award, postgraduate subjects (at AQF Level 8 or above) from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent; or
  • Successful completion of an approved Postgraduate Qualifying Program from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent; or
  • For mature age entry (21+): successful completion of a diploma or associate degree qualification (or equivalent as recognised by the Australian Government’s qualifications recognition tool) AND five years of relevant management experience.
