About

The Graduate Certificate in Classroom and Curriculum Innovation is a specialised program designed to empower teachers, along with other education stakeholders, to develop a comprehensive understanding of the increasingly diverse needs of students in order to deliver more effective pedagogies.

Each of the units is tailored to equip you with the knowledge and skills to critically evaluate principles, philosophies and ideologies that underpin education, particularly in the Australian context, in order to find opportunities for pedagogical and curriculum innovation.

Areas of study include classroom pedagogies, philosophy of Christian education.

Upon completion of this course career opportunities include changemaker in schools and classroom settings.

Admission criteria

Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ relevant work experience in the industry (education, business, leadership, Christian ministries, etc).

English language proficiency

Minimum English language of:

  • IELTS: 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
  • PTE Academic: 58 with no score less than 51.

Educational prerequisites

The entry criteria for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Classroom and Curriculum Innovation program shall normally be:

  • a bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) from an Australian higher education institution; or
  • a qualification recognised as equivalent by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR); or
  • other qualifications and experience as may, on application by the student, be deemed equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (AQF Level 7) by the Academic Board of the College.
