The Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management (GCLM) provides an opportunity for those in leadership and management positions to further their study in this area within the context of a Christian framework. The GCLM focuses on developing personal leadership and management skills, theory and practice. The course also has a particular focus on not-for-profit organisations.
The Graduate Certificate is also a pathway into the Avondale Graduate Diploma in Leadership and Management and the Master of Business Administration program.
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management, graduates will be able to:
Graduates will be equipped with business management skills and leadership training that can be applied in real-world business situations. Graduates develop skills for roles such as Finance Manager, Hospital Administrator, Advertising Manager, Human Resources Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Operations, Church Management.

In exceptional circumstances an applicant may be admitted based on qualifications deemed equivalent as assessed by the Course Convenor in consultation with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic).
Applicants who have completed prior study may be eligible for advanced standing (credit recognition). Applicants should discuss their eligibility for advanced standing with the Admissions Team or the Course Convenor.
