Viewing correspondence
We will send you email correspondence about your application.
It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address when you apply and to check your emails regularly, including your junk emails, for any messages from CQUniversity.
Some email accounts could place emails into a junk folder. Most email accounts allow users to add names or domains to a safe list. Make sure that you add the domains cqu.edu.au and uac.edu.au to your list of safe email contacts.
Tracking the progress of your application
You can log in to track the progress of your application. Once we have assessed your application, a short statement will appear under each of your preferences and qualifications. If there are no statements under your preferences or qualifications, your application is still being assessed, and we encourage you to check back in two business days.
The course preference status explanations and qualification status explanations webpages provide a detailed explanation of the statements used to describe the progress of your application.
We may need to change the details in your application, such as the qualification name and completion status. These changes may be due to an error or omission in your application, or as a result of our assessment guidelines.
If your qualification is an international qualification, UK NARIC and AEI-NOOSR are the primary sources that are used to determine the Australian equivalency of your qualification.
Authorising someone to act on your behalf
All information obtained by CQUniversity from your application is confidential. For privacy reasons we can’t discuss information relating to your application with anyone else. However, you may authorise a relative or friend to act on your behalf.
If you wish to authorise someone to act on your behalf, you must complete the appropriate section when you apply or contact CQUniversity.
Note: This authorisation only applies to the application process. It does NOT authorise someone to accept an offer on your behalf.

When you start your application to study with CQUniversity, we will email you an eight digit application number. Reference your application number if you need to submit an enquiry about your application.
