Throughout this course you will explore the theory and practice of development on a global level, while considering an ethical approach that reflects social, cultural and environmental factors. You will cover important topics such as the issues of gender, poverty and empowerment, and the history and politics of developmental theory – and learn how to design and evaluate an international project.

Future career opportunities include working in the public development sector, for multinational organisations, or as project manager or consultant for non-government organisations such as the Australian Red Cross or World Vision.

Bachelor degree or equivalent as approved by the University.
