About

This diploma is designed to provide a broad understanding of business in relation to the hospitality industry. During this course you will be introduced to hospitality concepts and discover business and management principles. It can be studied completely online, on-campus in Sydney, or a combination of both. Upon completion, you’ll have an understanding of the attributes, skills and experience of fundamental hospitality concepts and operations.

During this course you will be introduced to hospitality concepts, discover business and management principles and gain the knowledge, skills and experience of hospitality operations. You will have an opportunity for an exciting role in many areas of the hospitality industry and beyond.

With successful completion of this diploma, you can receive credits for the subjects you complete and gain entry into the second year of a Bachelor degree.

Industry Placement Program
All students enrolled in an associate degree or above undertake an 800-hour paid industry placement program which involves working in a hospitality, tourism, restaurant or event organisation in Australia or overseas.

Students graduate with hands-on experience and valuable industry connections. Many also graduate with an offer to continue working within the company in which they completed their placement. William Blue has strong partnerships with some of the industry’s leading hotels, restaurants, and event and tourism agencies.

Throughout the year students will gain valuable work experience at events such as Fashion Week, Vivid, Le Montage and Taste of Sydney Festival.
