Practical experience
During this course, and depending on how you design your Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) degree, you will have an opportunity to participate in a work-based learning (WBL) subject. We have a range of WBL subjects that would be suitable for PPE students and can create pathways to employment. These WBL subjects are designed not simply to allow you to extend your formal academic learning beyond the classroom but also to demonstrate the value of your skills to potential employers in a professional real-world environment.

One of English Standard, English Advanced (Band 2), English as an Additional Language or Dialect (Band 3).
Admission criteria
Applicants with recent secondary education
Subject adjustments: Applicants who successfully complete one of the following HSC or equivalent Year 12 subjects will have their selection rank increased by one point per study:
- Band 4 in English as an Additional Language or Dialect
- Band 3 in Business Studies, Economics, English Standard, English Advanced, Financial Services, Legal Studies
- Band 2 in Mathematics Standard 2, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 2 or any language other than English.
Selection ranks can be increased by a maximum of five points.

Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
