Environmental engineering explores the intricate relationship between human activities and the natural world. The career prospects for graduates in this field are robust – Australian engineering job vacancies have hit a 10-year high; and in India and China, growth is expected to exceed more than 20 million new engineers over the next decade.
The Master of Engineering (Professional) in Environmental Engineering is uniquely focused on developing the professional competencies required to work as an engineer in Australia and abroad. Through a blend of theory, practical applications, and hands-on projects, you’ll acquire the environmental protection, resource management and sustainable development skills required to effectively address complex environmental engineering challenges from an integrated perspective. You’ll also develop capabilities in leadership, ethics, and workplace health and safety, so that you’re well-prepared to drive innovation within your organisation.
