^ The annual tuition fees listed are indicative fees for study in Year 1, in the 2024 calendar year only. Fees are based on a full-time student enrolment load of 48 credit points per year, or 1.0 Equivalent Full-Time Student Load (1.0 EFTSL). About
This degree will provide you with a comprehensive foundation in health and the health care sector. You will critically examine the political, sociocultural, behavioural, economic and environmental factors that affect people's health decisions, and the way we deliver care. Through this course, you will understand the complexity of health at the local, national and global levels. Graduates typically move into health-related fields that do not involve the direct treatment of patients.

Health major plus a second major or minor from 513910 Bachelor of Science Table A or Table S, the wide range of majors offered from areas across the University. The human movement major is only available as a second major.

Practical experience
Elective placements are available through the Indigenous community placement and through the Sydney Health Students Abroad program, working with non-government organisations and other development agencies in a range of locations across South and South-East Asia.
Industry experience: You will have the opportunity to gain industry experience through interdisciplinary project units with industry, community or research projects.

Prerequisites
For 2024: Mathematics Advanced (Band 4) or Mathematics Extension 1 (Band E3) or Mathematics Extension 2 (Band E3). From 2025: None.
Admission criteria
Applicants with recent secondary education
Assumed knowledge: Mathematics Advanced and Biology, other assumed knowledge depends on majors or units of study chosen. Note: All students enrolled in Science and combined Science degrees will be required to undertake units of study in mathematics during their undergraduate degree. Bridging courses are available for students who have not studied the assumed knowledge during secondary school.
