Understand today's dynamic and complex business environment when you study communication and media with business at UOW. This double degree builds your expertise in global media with a focus on industry, business and government practice.

On completion of this double degree, you will graduate with two qualifications and the knowledge and skills to cut through the noise.

You will benefit from the expertise of our teaching staff who are some of the best in their fields. Studying communications and business provides you with an understanding of the business and commercial environments including management, operations and marketing, accounting, economics and finance. You will be able to research, plan, execute and manage marketing campaigns, produce content, and acquire skills in issue management, product publicity, crisis communications, and media relations.

During your double degree, you will develop common, core skills across both disciplines. In your final years, you will select a major from a diverse set of options in each to build your specialist knowledge in a chosen field. Throughout this degree combination you will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience and make professional connections, including the opportunity to participate in the Business Internship program.

Applicants with recent secondary education

Assumed knowledge: Any 2 units of English.

Recommended studies: English Advanced, any 2 units of mathematics.
