^ The indicative annual tuition fee is based on a full-time student enrolment load of 48 credit points per year, or 1.0 Equivalent Full-Time Student Load (1.0 EFTSL). Tuition fees are reviewed annually and may increase each year. Tuition fees are calculated on a student’s exact enrolment. UNSW students enrolled in most courses have some flexibility in the subjects they choose. At times these subjects will be from outside their own faculty. For example, a Commerce student may choose elective subjects from a range of other faculties; a student in a combined Law degree with Engineering or Science will choose subjects from Science and Engineering and subjects from Law. These choices may result in a higher or lower total fee for the year.

Immerse yourself in creative practice and develop your independent voice with the Bachelor of Fine Arts. This degree includes distinct and focused specialisations from which you can choose: Animation and Moving Image, Art Theory, Music (including Creative practice, pedagogy, sonic arts), and Visual Arts. You’ll learn from experts who will build your technical skills and knowledge in practical and theoretical classes. Your career will be developed though the strong industry links that are embedded in all our specialisations.

Choose study options across the humanities and social sciences, including English, criminology, history, languages, media, philosophy, politics and international relations, and sociology. Admission criteria
Applicants with recent secondary education
Recommended studies: For Animation and moving image: Visual Arts, Design and Technology. For Music: Music 2, or AMEB (7th Grade Practical and 6th Grade Theory or Musicianship) or equivalent study. For Art theory or Visual arts: Visual Arts.
All applicants

Portfolio (optional): Demonstrate your passions and skills alongside your ATAR. Depending on your preferred degree, you'll complete either a critical reflection or a portfolio, with successful applicants receiving an early conditional offer with an adjusted ATAR entry requirement for their preferred degree.
