About

A Diploma of Business in Tourism Management delivers an understanding of the tourist experience, culture and destination management, business communications and marketing fundamentals through a global and local perspective. It teaches you about the importance of the tourist experience and how it impacts the economy on a local and global scale. Successful completion will enable you to continue into the second year of the Bachelor of Business (Tourism Management).

Graduates of a Tourism Management diploma have the skills necessary to effectively contribute to the industry, plus the opportunity to continue studying at bachelor level. Industry Placement Program
All students enrolled in an associate degree or above undertake an 800-hour paid industry placement program which involves working in a hospitality, tourism, restaurant or event organisation in Australia or overseas.

Students graduate with hands-on experience and valuable industry connections. Many also graduate with an offer to continue working within the company in which they completed their placement. William Blue has strong partnerships with some of the industry’s leading hotels, restaurants, and event and tourism agencies.

Throughout the year students will gain valuable work experience at events such as Fashion Week, Vivid, Le Montage and Taste of Sydney Festival.
