Economic issues are inherent in our everyday lives. Economics affects us as consumers, employees, producers, investors, manufacturers, carers and much more. As members of a society, we all need to be able to make informed decisions about the optimal allocation of our limited resources.

The Bachelor of Economics will provide you with a sound understanding of today’s complex economic environment and the skills to design economic systems that promote welfare, fairness and sustainability. You’ll learn about how modern economies operate, trade and grow; the role of prices and markets in allocating scarce resources; and the sorts of policy interventions that can be introduced when economic outcomes are less than optimal.
