^ The annual tuition fees stated in this table are published for guidance only and are based on the normal annual (two semester) full-time enrolment of courses entirely in the discipline area of the degree (ie only Science courses for a BSc or only Arts courses for a BA). If you take more than a normal load in a year, you will pay more than the indicative annual fee; if you take less than the normal load, you will pay less. The Diploma of Engineering is ideal if you are curious about studying engineering and would like to learn more, though are unsure about committing to a full undergraduate degree.

During your engineering studies, you will explore some of the general concepts, principles and practices of engineering, develop your technical skills and build upon your maths and science knowledge.

With the diploma, you qualify for entry-level engineering roles, or you can continue onto other engineering degree courses such as CDU's Associate Degree in Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Science or Bachelor of Engineering Honours.
