^ The annual tuition fees stated in this table are published for guidance only and are based on the normal annual (two semester) full- time enrolment of courses entirely in the discipline area of the degree (ie only Science courses for a BSc or only Arts courses for a BA). Our program provides students with a unique 21st century musical experience which includes classical, jazz and contemporary performance, multimedia composition and audio engineering and recording.

Fees and charges

The Australian Government pays part of the tuition fee for this course. The remaining balance is paid by the student. Information about ANU student contributions.

Essential requirements for admission

Audition: Entry to performance major is based on meeting both the minimum selection rank and a successful assessment of suitability via audition.

Co-curricular or service experience (Year 12 or IB applicants only): Applicants must demonstrate at least two of the following seven skills: community engagement, inclusion and awareness of diversity, communication, leadership, personal responsibility, teamwork, creative and critical thinking. Minimum selection rank: 80.00. Due to the competitive nature of our admissions process, we cannot guarantee entry to applicants who meet the minimum selection rank for their preferred program.
