^ The annual tuition fees stated in this table are published for guidance only and are based on the normal annual (two semester) full- time enrolment of courses entirely in the discipline area of the degree (ie only Science courses for a BSc or only Arts courses for a BA). This is a unique, interdisciplinary program that will prepare you to be a future leader of the information and communications technology revolution. The degree is accredited by the Australian Computer Society, and allows you to complete a unique specialisation. You will learn advanced computing techniques and develop exceptional professional skills including communication and teamwork.

Essential requirements for admission

Co-curricular or service experience (Year 12 or IB applicants only): Applicants must demonstrate at least two of the following seven skills: community engagement, inclusion and awareness of diversity, communication, leadership, personal responsibility, teamwork, creative and critical thinking. Check if you meet the ANU co-curricular or service requirement.

Prerequisites

ACT: Mathematical Methods (major). NSW: Mathematics Advanced. Students without these prerequisites may be eligible for entry, subject to undertaking the ANU Mathematics bridging course.

Admission criteria

Applicants with recent secondary education

Recommended studies: ACT: Specialist Mathematics (major/minor). NSW: Mathematics Extension 1.

Minimum selection rank: 85.00. Due to the competitive nature of our admissions process, we cannot guarantee entry to applicants who meet the minimum selection rank for their preferred program.
