Your coursework will span economics (both theory and applied), economic history, and econometrics while developing your analytical problem-solving and quantitative skills.

Econometrics and statistics, economic history, economics. Students are encouraged to use their elective units to complete majors/minors from options across the University.

Fees and charges

The Australian Government pays part of the tuition fee for this course. The remaining balance is paid by the student. Information about ANU student contributions.

Essential requirements for admission

Co-curricular or service experience (Year 12 or IB applicants only): Applicants must demonstrate at least two of the following seven skills: community engagement, inclusion and awareness of diversity, communication, leadership, personal responsibility, teamwork, creative and critical thinking. Check if you meet the ANU co-curricular or service requirement.

Minimum selection rank: 80.00. Due to the competitive nature of our admissions process, we cannot guarantee entry to applicants who meet the minimum selection rank for their preferred program.

Assumed knowledge: ACT: Mathematical Methods (major). NSW: Mathematics Advanced.
