About
ANU is a leader in the field of International Relations. Bachelor of International Relations will introduce you to the topic, initially via the broad historical and intellectual framework, which has framed the modern world of states since the 17th century. It will then concentrate on the 20th century, the age of World Wars and the Cold War, before addressing contemporary issues, the age of global political economy, global culture and communication, global environmental concerns and post-Cold war political conflict, including the 'War on Terror'. With our flexible study options you can extend your chosen language subject into a major, and have the opportunity to go on exchange or an international/national internship.

Essential requirements for admission
Co-curricular or service experience (Year 12 or IB applicants only): Applicants must demonstrate at least two of the following seven skills: community engagement, inclusion and awareness of diversity, communication, leadership, personal responsibility, teamwork, creative and critical thinking. Minimum selection rank: 85.00. Due to the competitive nature of our admissions process, we cannot guarantee entry to applicants who meet the minimum selection rank for their preferred program.
