The Diploma of Science Fast Track provides students with access to the university experience within a supported context. Students are provided with a range of experiences and opportunities to engage with key disciplinary areas including biology, chemistry and earth sciences, with dedicated support tutorials to support their success.
Successful completion of the the diploma provides entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wollongong (UOW), or entry to the first year of the Bachelor of Science Education.

Admission criteria
Applicants with recent secondary education
Selection rank: The guaranteed selection rank for entry to the Diploma of Science Fast Track is 60.00, or minimum 70% in 4 HSC subjects, or minimum 75% in 3 HSC subjects.
Assumed knowledge: Any 2 units of Mathematics.
Recommended studies: Mathematics Advanced.
Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study
If you have completed an AQF Certificate IV, AQF Diploma or AQF Advanced Diploma you will be considered for admission to this course.
