This double degree provides graduates with foundational knowledge in psychological science and human behaviour as well as the professional, critical thinking and communication skills to run their own business.
The Bachelor of Psychological Science provides the first three years of study and training for a range of careers that require critical thinking and an understanding of human psychological factors. Many graduates pursue postgraduate training to become registered psychologists who provide clinical services, while others work in psychological research or other community settings.
The Bachelor of Business is a structured progression of core units developing a comprehensive foundation in contemporary business.
Analytical skills in solving human, organisational and community-wide problems; competency in research; an understanding of statistical methods. Core business units cover sustainability, entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, finance, artificial intelligence, business analytics, and professional development.
Private industry, government, health, social, disability and youth services, corrective services, armed services, research organisations, education (with further study). Own business operator, careers in a broad range of sectors, including marketing, product management, investment, finance.
Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accreditation for entry to postgraduate training.
Completion of this degree plus additional postgraduate study in psychology is required to apply for conditional registration as a postgraduate intern in psychology in Australia.
