Courses included
In the Bachelor of Information Technology, you’ll acquire foundational skills in programming, data storage and modelling, networking and cybersecurity. You’ll develop broad and coherent knowledge and skills from an area of information technology – such as software design and construction, applied data modelling and analysis, or security problem detection and mitigation – and learn how to apply that knowledge to solve real-world problems. And you’ll learn how to relate your knowledge and skills in information technology to a broader societal context, and make sound decisions regarding ethical and security concerns.
The flexible Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) has a strong focus on practical learning and offers you the choice of five specialisations. You’ll learn how to identify complex problems and determine how to formulate innovative solutions to today’s complex problems. And you’ll be equipped with the skills you’ll need to mix it with history’s greatest engineers – maybe you’ll have the honour of creating the next lifesaving medical device, a clean water system for remote communities in Africa, or a mobile phone app that keeps children safe.
