This rapidly evolving environment presents unique opportunities for highly skilled electrical and electronic engineers.
The Electrical and Electronic Engineering specialisation will provide you with knowledge and skills to design and operate future electrical energy systems and technologies. You’ll utilise your knowledge of electrical energy and electronic engineering principles; apply circuit modelling, measurement and simulation techniques; and use industry-standard design software tools to identify, formulate and solve complex multidisciplinary problems.
Advanced system on chip design, communications networks, digital circuits and systems, digital embedded systems and hardware, electrical machines, energy conversion and storage, engineering mathematics, engineering physics, feedback control systems, linear circuits and devices, optimisation and management, power and analogue electronic device design, power system analysis, signals and systems, smart power grids and their design.
Computer hardware engineer, consultant, electrical engineer, electronic engineer, electronics designer, environmental and sustainability designer, project manager, research and development engineer.
You’ll undertake a work-integrated learning activity with a partner organisation.
