The Graduate Certificate in Vertical Transportation, developed in consultation with NSW Office of the Building Commissioner and Industry professionals, provides specialist skills and knowledge to plan, design, install, assess and maintain vertical transportation systems (e.g. lifts, walkways, escalators). The program integrates the disciplines of electrical and mechanical engineering creating a specific and work ready program in the expanding Vertical Transportation industry. Students have opportunities to work on industry projects through a capstone project and complete the program in a flexible way through online workshops and exposure to hands-on practicals while learning the relevant industry standards and regulations.
